Challenge Copenhagen 2011

For the second year in a row ECCO BIOM is a proud sponsor of the Challenge Triathlon series in Denmark. The Challenge Aarhus and the Challenge Copenhagen are amongst the most spectacular races in Europe. And without a doubt the Challenge race in Denmark’s capital, is the most scenic of the 7 international long distance triathlon races.

 

More than 1800 athletes from amateurs to elite came from all over the world to participate in this outstanding event. All eyes were on beautiful Copenhagen on the 14th of August when the athletes were competing in the only inner city Challenge race in the world.

 

ECCO has combined its more than 45 years of studying the human foot with research from top experts in the biomechanics of running. The outcome is the BIOM project – the shoe that lets your body follow its preferred motion path. Worn by world-class triathlete Rasmus Henning, it’s not only a natural way to run, it’s a better way!
